Introduction

Here at Cardiff Waterside, the estate management team aims to provide an efficient, professional and friendly service for every tenant. We are responsible for the maintenance and operation of the buildings and for the security of the estate. In this handbook we have set out our practices and procedures and, as you will see, most of the material is for your information. The successful management of the estate is, however, a collaborative effort and every tenant is expected to carry out the obligations to the estate set out in the terms of their lease, so the handbook also shows clearly how tenants should work with the estate management team. The measures set out in the handbook are not exhaustive and may be amended as circumstances change, in the meantime David Jones, the Estate Manager is happy to answer any questions you may have.
Knight Frank
The Cardiff Waterside estate is managed by Knight Frank. Specialists in all sectors of commercial property, Knight Frank provides property asset management services for a range of clients including pension funds, off shore trusts, overseas investors, discretionary and non-discretionary UK property companies and private investors. With offices across the world, Knight Frank is able to combine global experience with local knowledge to provide the best possible service to both its clients and their tenants.
Management Team
The on-site estate management team is always ready to deal with your requests and to answer any queries you may have. Occasionally, the team may not be aware of particular developments on the estate, such as repairs that need attention or unexpected events. To help the team provide the highest standards of service, it would be very helpful if all tenants could be vigilant about building management and security and, if there are any situations that need urgent attention, please notify the estate management office as quickly as possible. For all non-urgent requests or situations, please contact the helpdesk.
